Accommodation questions

What is the reception time for reservations?

Reservations and inquiries by phone are accepted from 9:00 to 18:00.
Online reservations on the website are available 24 hours a day.

What are the check-in and out times?

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 10:00.

Can I use a credit card?

Credit cards are VISA, JCB, American Express, Diner's Club, Master Card, and DISCOVER.

Can I make a prepayment?

Yes, prepayment is possible. We will inform you of the bank transfer, etc. if you can make an order after booking is completed.
Please be assured that prepaid trips have increased in recent years, including gift trips.

Hot Spring FAQs

How many baths are there?

There is one large public bath for men and one for women, as well as a mixed-gender open-air bath called “Yubatake.” Please note that wearing a bathing garment (yuami-gi) is required in the mixed bath.

Until what time can the bath be used?

Large public bath 15:00–24:00, and 5:00–10:00 the following morning
Open-air bath "Yubatake" 15:00–23:00, and 6:00–10:00 the following morning

Dining FAQs

Where is the dining place?

Dinner and breakfast are on the ground (1st) floor.

What is your meal time?

Dinner is served from 18:00 to 20:30. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00.

I have food allergies. Is that okay?

We can accommodate shrimp and crab allergies only by changing to alternative ingredients. Please contact us by 18:00 at least three days before your stay. The replacement ingredients will be at the hotel’s discretion. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate other food allergies. Thank you for your understanding.

Is it possible to walk to Yamanaka Onsen (Yuge Kaido)?

It takes about 20 minutes on foot. If you apply at the front desk, we can provide a complimentary shuttle service. Please feel free to consult us regarding the time.

Other FAQs

Are there banquet halls and meeting rooms?

Yes, there are both.
Yes, both are available. Our banquet hall can accommodate up to 35 guests, and our conference room can accommodate up to 50 guests. If you wish to use either facility, please kindly check the availability of the banquet hall or conference room at the time of reservation or inquiry.

Do you have a wheelchair?

Yes, there is. There are two wheelchairs at Hanabsubaki, so please tell us at the time of reservation or check-in.

Is there a parking lot?

Yes, there is free parking (80 cars can be parked).

Can you store our luggage for us?

On the day of your stay, we can store your luggage before check-in. For luggage storage or delivery prior to your stay date, please contact us in advance.

Is there a vending machine?

Yes. There are vending machines on the second floor offering soft drinks and cup noodles.

Is there a place to eat nearby?

We’re sorry, but there are no places to eat late at night inside the hotel. The main street of Yamanaka Onsen is about a 10-minute drive away, where you’ll find izakayas, Chinese restaurants, okonomiyaki restaurants, and other dining options.

Are there any recreational facilities inside the hotel?

Yes, we have two table tennis tables and one billiards table. Please contact the front desk when you would like to use them. Table tennis: ¥550 per hour, Billiards: ¥550 per hour, Hours of operation: 15:00–23:00 (last reception at 22:00)

Can you pick me up?
